I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who made our annual Missions Celebration a great success!  We were treated to great food, music and stirring and inspiring messages from missionaries doing a great work from all around the world.  The Lord is using a dedicated group of missionaries to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we at Liberty Baptist Church are proud to be a part of that work. We support missionaries who preach the gospel and develop a system to teach and train nationals to preach the Word and make disciples in their own villages and towns. To that end, missionaries use a variety of skills and talents to share the message of the Gospel, among them: Building churches Building Bible colleges Establishing orphanages Training local people in a trade skill Providing food and medical supplies Now in our 39th year of ministry, we are looking forward to increasing our partnership with even more mission fields all over the world.  As you know, our theme this year is "Every Member a Shareholder, not a Spectator". Highlights from the 2007 Annual Report 1/9/08

77 mission projects on 68 fields supporting 126 adult missionaries Mission gifts paid out on 2007:  $488,254.96 We conservatively estimate more than 30,000 people coming to Christ in our ministries around the world in 2007. The Lord is doing great things and we are rejoicing!
